You might say Doug Nofziger of Lazy D Farms has blueberries running through his veins; since 1988 the fourth generation family farmer, alongside his uncle Maynard, has had planted, nurtured and harvested some of the very best blueberries in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.

Doug and his wife Sara have three children; two sons and a daughter. The entire family works together every year to harvest the delicious blueberries at the peak of ripeness and putting their family “stamp of approval” on every berry.

Lazy D Farm will soon be celebrating their 100 year anniversary and will soon officially become a Century Farm. Scenic Fruit Company, also a family owned business for over 80 years, is proud to be part of their family legacy.

Doug grows seven varieties of blueberries on close to 30 acres and has been sending fruit to Scenic Fruit Co. for many years. We thank you and our customers’ thank you for the extra care you put into your delicious blueberries.
